Renovating your home can be an exciting process. It can also be a stressful one. There’s no doubt that you will experience both highs and lows along the way. In our experience, this is what we are used to seeing.
+ Emotional High – Coming up with design ideas, shopping for finishes
Emotional Low – Receiving all contractor bids and signing on the line – spending that amount of money can be stressful!
+ Emotional High – Permits are in hand, demo can finally begin! Framing and rough electrical/ plumbing typically move along quickly.
Emotional Low – Waiting for inspections can sometimes hold up the project. Drywall and painting work can be messy.
+ Emotional High – Cabinets get installed, along with other woodwork – it’s starting to look less like a work zone
+ Emotional High – Flooring, tile work, and lighting is installed – the look is finally coming together!
Emotional Low – Punchlist items can be a pain. Lots of little things take time, especially when you need several different subs to come back to finish up.
+ Emotional High – The project is done! You can move back in or begin to use your beautiful, new space!
